生物安全型氣密傳遞窗主要用于高等級生物安全實驗室（BSL-4、ABSL-3、ABSL-4）中具有氣密性要求的房間，可解決物流通道的氣密性問題。氣密傳遞窗的雙門均采用機械壓緊的方式保證物流通道的氣密性，即，傳遞窗門板上安裝有高彈性密封圈，通過壓緊機構(gòu)使門與門框之間形成密封帶，其結(jié)構(gòu)與機械式密閉門相似。傳遞窗作為一種物品傳遞設(shè)備，主要用于低污染概率區(qū)域與高污染概率區(qū)域之間小件物品的傳遞，其雙門采用互鎖裝置，以避免不同區(qū)域直接連通；同時，設(shè)置有氣體消毒接口，可用于連接氣（汽）體消毒設(shè)備對傳遞窗內(nèi)物品進行氣（汽）體消毒，可有效減低傳遞過程中發(fā)生的污染。
